Mas Baudin × Arsilac
Equipping a family-run vineyard with sustainable professional solutions
Between Nîmes, Arles and Avignon, Mas Baudin continues its committed family wine-growing adventure. To support its development, the estate has chosen Arsilac and its professional second-hand equipment. Let's take a look back at a collaboration based on common sense, trust and technical expertise. In the commune of Montfrin, nestled in the fertile triangle of the Gard region, Mas Baudin cultivates vines and authenticity. Run by Amélie and Vincent Bonnard, brother and sister who took over the family estate in the midst of the health crisis, the estate produces sincere wines, rooted in their terroir, and a few litres of olive oil for lovers of green fruitiness.
When it came time to rethink their winemaking equipment, it was only natural that they chose a solution that reflected their values: reliable, well thought out, and without excess. This is how their collaboration with Arsilac, a supplier of used professional winemaking equipment, began.

Mas Baudin : a family-run farm with deep roots in the Gard region
Mas Baudin is located in the heart of the Rhône Valley in the Gard region, in a fertile wine-growing triangle between Nîmes, Arles and Avignon. The estate, passed down from generation to generation, is now in the hands of Amélie and Vincent Bonnard, a passionate brother and sister who took over the estate during the Covid period.
On a terroir of rounded pebbles, Mas Baudin cultivates 5 hectares of vines using a plot-by-plot winemaking approach that respects biodiversity. Each grape variety is vinified separately in order to reveal the potential of the soil. The estate produces three red wines (Arlezzo, Roumiou, Fréjaou), one white, one rosé, and a fruity olive oil from 2.5 hectares of olive trees (Picholine, Aglandau and Bouteillan varieties), harvested by hand and cold-pressed.
The profile of the estate is clear: a traditional and versatile structure, attentive to the accuracy of its technical choices.

A winery to be adapted without altering the estate's balance
Economic and space constraints, typical of a small-scale estate, led the Bonnard family to opt for second-hand professional stainless steel equipment. It was in this context that Arsilac was called upon. After an initial detailed discussion and an assessment of technical requirements, Arsilac proposed a tailor-made solution based on reconditioned, tried and tested second-hand equipment adapted to the constraints of the estate.
